This will allow you to peek around walls and land hits on enemies with them unable to return fire. Much like the Uncharted games on PS3, you can swap the side of the screen with which your gun is aiming. You may not always need to use cover, though. There is no point in wasting precious attempts simply because your cover sucks. If you find yourself dying constantly because of this very reason, try to seek out a better form of cover in the checkpoint. Sometimes a piece of slab you'll be using for cover will break under heavy fire.Since ammo is pretty damn scarce, you'll need any extra help you can take. You'll be given extra ammo for your guns.

Since you can start the game on this, you'll end up getting the previous two difficulty achievements at the same time. You'll get this for finishing the game on "Suicide Mission" difficulty. You'll get this for finishing the game on "Combat Op" difficulty. You'll get this for beating the game on "Walk on the Beach" difficulty. You'll acquire this during the fifthteenth chapter. You'll acquire this near the end of chapter twelve.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this during the eleventh chapter.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this toward the end of the sixth chapter.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this at the end of the fourth chapter.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this during chapter four.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this at the end of the second chapter.Ĭannot be missed. You'll acquire this halfway through the first chapter.Ĭannot be missed. Since both of these require you to finish entire chapters without dying, I recommend doing them on easy (unless you are a complete monster at the game).Ĭannot be missed. Now all that should be left are any miscellaneous achievements you missed. Upon finishing this step, you will unlock the following achievement:Īlong with that, you'll acquire all the opposite decision based achievements and possibly some of the weapon based ones you missed the first time. In comparison to other recent games, I believe that "FUBAR" difficulty is tougher than pretty much every modern Call of Duty game, excluding "World at War." It's not as challenging as "Max Payne 3" on Hard, but is definitely much more difficult than "Crysis 2" on Delta. While "FUBAR" isn't overly difficult, some sections borderline on cheap and the decreased health can really add to frustration in a few scenes. Be sure to make all the opposite decisions during this playthrough. Upon completeing the game the first time, if you follow this first step, you will have unlocked these achievements:Īnd also half of the decision based ones: Whenever you pick one up, it gets saved automatically, so it doesn't matter when you decide to grab them. You can spend time finding them all in this step or save them for the next playthrough. There are also various intel pieces scattered across the game that are tied to some achievements. While the sniper achievement is fairly easy (only 50 kills), some require upwards of 200, so just work at guns you'll probably never need during this step. In addition to learning which ones work best for you, you'll also likely knock out most of the kill related achievements. During your next step, you'll focus on the opposite options.Ĭonstantly experiement with new weapons during this playthrough. Since you have to finish two playthroughs, just select whichever choices you want on this playthrough. Most of the achievements in the game are dedicated to the various choices you are given throughout the experience. You could easily finish the game in 5 hours on this difficulty. Unlocking "FUBAR" difficulty also requires you to beat "Suicide Mission," so in the interest of avoiding a third playthrough, start with that. While a few sections may cause bursts of "emotion," most of the game is fairly generous. Fear not, for the game is really not that challenging. Begin the game by selecting the "Suicide Mission" difficulty.
